Advocacy
Goal: Advocate for educational rights and against inequality of educational opportunity for all students, in particular Mexican/Latino students.
Communication
Goal: Provide social media presence to promote AMAE’s activities, events, and issues.
Fundraising
Goal: Secure funding for AMAE’s annual events including, but not limited to: Scholarships, Speech Competition, Día del Maestro and Platicas.
Liaison
Goal: Maintain organizational collaboration with other organizations and develop a public presence in our community.
Membership
Goal: Recruit members through outreach strategies.
Program
Goal: Provide community outreach to educators, students, parents, public through Platicas (informational meetings), Speech Competition, Día del Maestro in alignment with AMAE’s missions and goals.
Scholarship
Goal: Support qualifying high-school seniors through scholarships in their quest to continue their higher educational goals.
