AMAE SUPPORTS STUDENTS IN HAYDOCK INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL NAME CHANGE
AMAE has supported Haydock students and their teacher to bring about the name change for the intermediate school. AMAE is proud to have supported the students and their teacher in the research that brought to light the practices and beliefs of Mr. Haydock.
“Last year, two students addressed the school board to share their research on Richard B. Haydock. The students wanted to learn more about their school’s namesake and discovered a book called “Strategies of Segregation: Race, Residence, and the Struggle for Educational Equality” by local author David G. García.”
