Periodically, throughout the year, various chapters host “platicas” to share information regarding current topics of interest in education affecting the Latino community. Past “platicas” have included panel presentations with group discussions, guest speakers such as Dr. Rudolfo Acuña, and visits to schools where promising practices are yielding positive results.
